EFL Championship outfit Swansea City are keen on landing Chelsea star Kasey Palmer, according to Sky Sports’ live transfer blog.
The player is back with the Blues following loan stints with both Blackburn Rovers and Bristol City last campaign but could find senior-team opportunities hard to come by considering the attacking options Frank Lampard has available.
Christian Pulisic, Willian and Callum Hudson-Odoi, to name a few, are all players the new Blues manager will be able to call upon this upcoming campaign, with the former Borussia Dortmund ace being someone Frank has spoken highly of recently.
“It’s a big move for him [Pulisic] to a huge club. He’s a top young player. He’s only going to go one way in terms of his career – he’s going to go up and be a big signing for Chelsea. I hope so. I look forward to working with him,” Frank was quoted as saying by Goal.
As a result, a loan switch to Swansea City could be in Kasey’s best interest as he looks for regular playing time and to impress the powers that be at Stamford Bridge.
So far, Kasey has spent the majority of his professional career away from Chelsea, with spells at Huddersfield Town and Derby County delivering different levels of success for the youngster.
Capable of playing out wide or centrally, Kasey will hope his next move can catapult him to the next level as the star looks to get his career firmly on track.
