Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is reportedly set to put pen to paper on a new contract with the Serie A side amid links with Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
The 25-year-old star enjoyed an impressive campaign with Biancocelesti prior to the coronavirus postponement, scoring four goals and grabbing five assists from 25 outings in Serie A.
Milinkovic-Savic has attracted attention from a number of sides recently, but the Serbian star is supposedly looking ahead to his future with his side.
According to Corriere della Roma, Simone Inzaghi’s side are ready to offer Milinkovic-Savic a bumper fresh deal to remain in Italy, and the midfielder could earn £3.5 million a year at the Stadio Olimpico.
The report also states that Milinkovic-Savic has no desire to quit Lazio any time soon, with Inzaghi’s side currently only one point behind Maurizio Sarri’s Juventus as things stand.
The Serbian is under contract at the Stadio Olimpico outfit until 2024, where he has amassed 36 goals from 193 games across all competitions since 2015.
Meanwhile, Juventus star Adrien Rabiot has reportedly emerged as a possible transfer target for Newcastle United.
In spite of only moving to the Italian champions last summer, Adrien is being linked with an exit later in 2020 as Juventus contemplate an offer for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
In order to reduce costs, it has been claimed that the former Paris Saint-Germain youngster could be included in a part-exchange deal.
However, Calciomercato states that Newcastle have already made contact with Bianconeri to ask about Rabiot’s availability.
