Mohamed Elneny’s agent has announced that both West Ham and Leicester made offers for the central midfielder over the summer transfer window, while also admitting the Egyptian has hopes of Arsenal future.
The 27-year-old finally joined Turkish giants Besiktas on a season-long loan.
He’s made just three games during this campaign and has been linked with a permanent transfer to AC Milan in January window.
And speaking to Time Sport, cited by TEAMtalk, the player’s agent, Alaa Nazmy, addressed the Egyptian midfielder’s summer agreement.
Nazmy then went on to a conversation about the midfielder’s future, claiming Egypt international can return to Arsenal next summer and push for his place to the first-team.
But can Elneny force his way back into the Gunners boss’s plans?
It would come as a genuine shock if Elneny ever turned out for the Arsenal again in a competitive fixture.
The Egyptian got a red card in his Besiktas debut and has struggled over the past 18 months for both country and club.
Elneny may well be hoping for the North London future, but that decision could be out of his hands, especially if Milan firm up their reported permanent deal interest in winter.
