According to the agent of Santos midfielder Lucas Lima, Manchester United and Barcelona are both interested in signing his client.
The 27-year-old Lima, who has been capped by Brazil national team on 14 occasions, is out of contract on December 31st, with Italian sides Inter Milan and AS Roma also monitoring the situation.
Player’s agent Lucas Badia told Football Italia: “Inter, Roma and Barcelona are watching Lucas closely, but Manchester United also want him.
“The player is suited to Serie A, but we’ll see. His contract expires on December 31 and there are many clubs interested.”
Lima has scored only goal for Santos this season in 19 appearances across all competitions, but the midfielder has been a major creative force, registering nine assists.
Santos No.10 maestro is extremely composed in possession and is capable of unlocking defences with precise passes.
Although he is usually deployed as an attacking midfielder, Lima can also play on either flank and possesses excellent technical ability.
Lucas Lima has joined Santos back in 2014 but it appears that his association with the club could soon be coming to an end and it will be intriguing to see what his destination will be.
