According to the Metro, Arsenal are eyeing a move for Everton winger Ademola Lookman but also face competition to land the former Charlton attacker.
The Englishman was sent out on loan to RB Leipzig by Sam Allardyce, after being used sparingly in the Premier League, and he has emerged as one of the attractive summer targets after performing impressively for the Bundesliga side and England’s Under-21.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace are keen to tie him to Selhurst Park as a replacement for Wilfried Zaha, whose departure is becoming more realistic as Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur care closely monitoring the situation.
Palace believe their ability to offer Lookman guaranteed first-team football will convince him to join, but the Gunners are determined to bring the 20-year-old to the Emirates, as the Sun reports. He’s expected to be available for £15million, which represents a bargain in the current market.
The versatile attacker has appeared in 22 games in different outfits and leagues. Thus he managed to score four goals and made one assist. He is 20 years old and is expected to have a successful career.
