Barcelona and Arsenal are reportedly planning a move for 17-year-old Brazilian forward Gabriel Veron.
The talented forward currently plays for Palmeiras, however, has made only four senior games for the club so far.
However, Veron has managed to found back of the net twice and produced one assist in that time, despite only being on the pitch for 92 minutes combined, while his form at the U-17 World Cup also attracted attention.
Veron has managed to found back of the net three times to help Brazil to the U-17 side last year, winning the Golden Ball award for the tournament’s best player in the process.
Reports from Brazil claims that Arsenal and Barcelona are tracking the right winger’s progress, and also that the Merseyside Bluesfailed with a £12m bid for the attacker during the winter transfer window.
Palmeiras are believed to be holding out for a bid of around €30m (£26.5m) before they decide to sell Veron.
Meanwhile, Ligue 1 outfits Lille are reportedly preparing to rival Arsenal for the services of Reims defender Axel Disasi.
The 22-year-old centre-back has been in stunning form at club level during the 2019-20 season, helping Reims boast the best defensive record in French top-tier at this stage of the campaign.
Arsenal are believed to have made formal contact with David Guion’s team as they attempt to tie up a contract ahead of this summer’s transfer window.
However, according to Le 10 Sport, French giants Lille are also preparing a move for the talented defender, who will see his current contract at the Stade Auguste-Delaune expire at the end of the 2020-21 season.
