Premier League giants, Arsenal reportedly failed with a recent approach for Barcelona full-back Sergino Dest, according to the reports.
The 20-year-old arrived at Camp Nou from Dutch giants Ajax last October and was a regular for the La Liga outfits during the 2020-21 season, playing 41 games in all competitions.
There has been rumours surrounding the USA international this summer, with several teams, including Borussia Dortmund and Monaco, believed to be showing an interest.
According to Sport, the Gunners recently made an approach for the former Ajax star and had been hopeful of tempting him to move to the Premier League during this summer’s transfer window with the offer of a lucrative deal.

The defender, who scored three goals for Ronald Koeman’s side last season, signed a five-year deal with the Spanish giants upon his arrival from the Netherlands.
Arsenal also planning to sell their right-back Hector Bellerin as Spaniard has been linked with a switch to Serie A both Inter Milan and Juventus are believed to be interested in his services.
