The Spanish boss has reportedly held direct negotiations with Real Madrid attacker Isco and convinced him to seal a transfer to the London giants. Arsenal are already assuming that the Los Blancos playmaker Dani Ceballos will not be remaining at the Emirates Stadium after his second campaign on loan in the London club.
Dani hasn’t been at his best for much of his time at Emirates Stadium, though he did enough at the defence end of last campaign to secure a second year on loan at the club. Gunners could try replacing him with his Real team-mate Isco, whose future at the Santiago Bernabeu is in doubt after less playing time recently.
The 28-year-old playmaker could be a fine signing for Arsenal, giving them some much-needed creativity in the final third after Mesut Ozil’s decline and subsequent axing from the first-team by the Spanish manager.
Spain international has had a fine career at Real Madrid, winning four UCL trophies and other major honours with the club, and often playing a crucial role in the team. It looks Isco may now be available, and he’s been convinced by the Spanish manager that a move to the London club could be right for him.
The Spanish playmaker has made eight league matches this campaign, although he’s yet to complete 90 minutes this season. Isco’s lack of playing time has reportedly prompted the Spanish manager to contemplate tabling a winter bid for his services.
It’s been claimed Mikel Arteta is eager to add some more creativity to his struggling side and has identified his countryman as the man to alleviate those woes.
