Youri Tielemans’ future at Leicester City has been a topic of much debate in media this summer as the midfielder has entered the final year of his deal with the Foxes. Belgium international has been with the Foxes since 2019 when he arrived from Monaco and has grown into a crucial figure for the Foxes.
However, with the team regressing last campaign, Tielemans has decided it is time for him to take the next step in his career as he seeks regular European football. To that end, Youri has not signed an extension with the Foxes and has been courted by several top teams in England and Europe.
Arsenal have been linked the strongest with the 25-year-old midfielder, while Man United have also been credited with an interest in the footballer. The Belgian midfielder, for his part, is reportedly favouring a transfer to Arsenal over any other suitors, including Man United.
It stays to be seen where the Belgian ends up. There could be a possibility that he remains at the King Power Stadium before leaving next summer as a free agent. But at the moment, there have been no approaches made to Leicester for his signing.
The Gunners are in the market for another midfielder as the Spanish coach looks to make the switch from a 4-2-3-1 to a 4-3-3 at Arsenal and the former Monaco midfielder is believed to be one of their top targets.
