Serie A giants Lazio have joined Liverpool and Arsenal in the transfer race to sign Red Bull Salzburg playmaker Dominik Szoboszlai.
The 19-year-old midfield star has established himself as one of the top transfer targets in European football, enhancing his reputation during seven appearences in the Champions League and Europa League this campaign.
The progression of the Hungarian has inevitably led to interest from top teams from the Premier League, with Liverpool and Arsenal said to be among the teams planning a bid for the youngster.
However, Calciomercato reports that Serie A giants, Lazio are also ready to make an approach for Szoboszlai when the transfer window will be re-opened in the summer.
The Italian outfit have put themselves in a tough position with regards to qualifying for next campaigns Champions League, while they may be able to offer 19-year-old midfielder more first-team games than the two English giants.
With the player having just over two years left on his current deal, Salzburg may be open to a sale later in 2020 and move to Premier League seems more likely despite interest from Lazio.
The Merseyside Reds have already signed Takumi Minamino from Salzburg and Szoboszlai could be next.
