The London giants have a strong interest in securing the signing of Ianis Stoica from FCSB in the summer of 2022. U21 Romania international came through the youth sides at FCSB and has had many loan spells away at Dunarea Calarasi, Petrolul Ploiesti, and Metaloglobus Bucharest while he spent the last campaign out at Slatina, where the winger enjoyed a decent season producing a return of seven goals and five assists from 24 matches.
Having returned to FCSB, Stoica prodigy has grown into a crucial first-team footballer this campaign. Ianis has already featured in 14 games across all tournaments, scoring six goals in the process, while the winger also has two assists to show far.
The 18-year-old winger’s potential hasn’t gone unnoticed, with Italian club Bologna and Turkish giants Galatasaray expressing an interest in signing the forward. As per the report mentioned above, the Gunners, too, have entered the pursuit of the Romanian winger.
It is claimed that Arsenal have been scouting Stoica for close to two months now and have decided to approach FCSB to explore the possibility of signing their forward in 2022. The Gunners have no shortage of options in the attacking unit. The Spanish manager has heavily relied upon Saka and Smith Rowe in the wide areas.
Arsenal can also call upon Pepe and Martinelli, while Aubameyang, Maitland-Niles and Odegaard are also capable of playing on the wing if necessary.
