Arsenal keeping tabs on Real Madrid highly-rated forward

Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are all tracking Real Madrid ace, Martin Odegaard, according to a report.

The 20-year-old midfielder has been hailed as one of the next big thing during his teenage years.

Odegaard moved to the Santiago Bernabeu at the age of 16 and has spent the bulk of the last few years out on loan.

The winger is at La Liga club Real Sociedad this term and has impressed thus far. His strong form and massive potential has now attracted attention from England’s top clubs.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made it clear he wants pacy, young, hungry, skilful players at Old Trafford and United are also watching Martin closely in Spain, according to The Sun.

Unai Emery has introduced a host of academy players to his first-team roster this season and would apparently be open to bringing in more in the transfer market.

Arsenal are also understood to see Odegaard as a potential long-term replacement for outcasted midfielder Mesut Ozil, who the club want gone in January due to his £350,000 per week contract.

The Sun add the Premier League teams reckon they can land Odegaard for just £25 million next summer, despite Real Madrid’s huge asking price.

If they offer the player regular top-flight football in England, the feeling is the Norwegian wonderkid could be tempted to leave Real.

Zinedine Zidane’s side may cash in on Martin too as they continue to rebuild their roster in Madrid. Martin has scored twice and provided one assist in six matches for Sociedad at the start of the campaign.
