Arsenal ready to let their first-team star to leave club this summer to sign Premier League no.11 forward

Arsenal are reportedly contemplating including one of their players in any deal for Wilfried Zaha.

Despite possessing a limited transfer budget for the summer transfer window, the North London club are attempting to secure the services of Wilfried Zaha, who could cost around £80m.

The Eagles have no desire to part ways with their most prized asset, although it appears that the Gunners are prepared to tempt the London club with a player-plus-cash deal.

The Mirror reports that Unai Emery is happy to allow either Callum Chambers, Mohamed Elneny or Carl Jenkinson to depart from the Emirates Stadium in a bid to conclude a transfer.

Chambers – who can play in a number of positions and is a homegrown player – may appeal to the Eagles having featured regularly for Fulham during the most recent season.

However, Jenkinson is available at a time when the Eagles have just sold their best defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United, while Elneny is a strong option to strengthen their midfield area.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are closing in on securing the services of Saint-Etienne centre-back William Saliba, according to reports from France.

The 18-year-old defender is a top transfer target for Unai Emery this summer and the Gunners have already seen one bid turned down by Saint-Etienne.

The North London club would prefer to secure the services of Saliba immediately to the Emirates, however, Saint-Etienne keen on to have the 18-year-old at the club for the next season.

French outlet TF1 reports that Saint-Etienne will sell to the Gunners, with the deal set to be valued at around £27million.
