Arsenal planning to make a move for AC Milan forward Andre Silva, as they continue the search for Alexis Sanchez’s replacement.
Arsene Wenger’s side are expected to lose Chilean superstar to their Premier League rivals Manchester City after forward opted against committing his future at Emirates Stadium.
After missing out on the signing of Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez and AS Monaco attacker Thomas Lemar, The Sun claims that Portuguese forward Silva is the latest name to be added on Arsene Wenger’s wishlist.
Portuguese attacker has joined AC Milan for £33m earlier in the summer. However, Italian side are struggling to compete for Serie A title after spending big money.
The report suggests that, after losing sponsorship deals with Adidas and Audi, the Rossoneri could be forced to sell some of the key players after the end of the current campaign and Arsenal could try to lure Andre Silva at Emirates Stadium.
Euro 2016 winner forward has found the net for four times in six games for AC Milan since joining them from Porto, all of which have come in the Europa League.
Meanwhile, Sanchez is believed to leave the club in January if Manchester City agrees to pay £20m for his signature.
