Arsenal renewed talks with 22-year-old Jupiler League winger

The London giants are set to make a bid to Brugge for winger Noa Lang as the Spanish manager seems to strengthen his attacking options. After a fairly successful summer transfer window, the Spanish coach will continue to make additions to complete his team re-build.

The Gunners signed six footballers, all under the age of 23, which showed a rather clear blueprint of the coach’s plan for the London club. Five of that addition have featured heavily so far this campaign, which has reduced the Gunners’ average age significantly.

Mikel Arteta will continue to make further additions in the next windows, focusing on bringing in attackers. Arsenal want a centre-forward and probably a wide attacker. Arsenal have been linked with a host of centre-forwards in the last few weeks, with Olle Watkins and Dominic Calvert-Lewin among those featured targets.

The Spanish coach is also looking at wide attackers to sign and strengthen his front three. Arsenal are looking at a left-sided footballer specifically, with the likes of Raheem Sterling linked with the Gunners. However, even if Mikel Arteta decides on the Man City man, he will surely be an expensive acquisition.

There may also be interest from bigger teams than the Gunners for the attacker to consider. However, Arsenal have alternatives on their list, with Lang’s name featuring prominently. Noa recently made his debut for the Netherlands in their victory over Gibraltar and has shown immense promise in his development.
