Eden Hazard has told Manchester United and their manager that they have ‘no chance’ of signing him. The Belgian superstar will still have two years left on his contract this summer, but the Blues are keen to tie Hazard down to a new long-term deal.
The Red Devils and Manchester City have both been linked with a move for Belgium international, while the attacker also remains on Real Madrid’s radar. But when asked about the prospect of leaving Stamford Bridge during a video with A Star Barbers, the 27-year-olde emphatically ruled out a switch to Premier League rivals. Hazard read aloud a comment from a fan who urged him to join Old Trafford outfit but the player replied with a laugh: ‘No chance.’
Hazard believes his side still have a chance of overtaking Tottenham and Liverpool. ‘Beating Liverpool was a massive result,’ Hazard told Chelsea TV.
‘Now the target is just to win and be in the top four at the end of the season, and if we play like this the last three games, we can have something special at the end of the season. ‘Let’s hope for something big.’
