According to Spanish publication El Gol, Chelsea have already tabled a £62.2m (€70) bid for prolific Italian forward Andrea Belotti.
La Liga and Champions League winners are said to be engaged in the signing of Italy international forward to strengthen their offensive options.
However, the defending Premier League champions have reportedly made the first move for the 23-year-old with an opening bid in view to a January transfer.
Real Madrid will have to match Chelsea bid at least to lure Italian forward at Santiago Bernabeu, according to El Gol, if they want to sign Belotti.
The Los Blancos may fight very hard to sign the Italian as he is eligible to play in Europe, unlike other top targets Sergio Aguero, Harry Kane and Robert Lewandowski.
The Torino’s No.9’s form has taken a dip this campaign after excelling last season where he finished with 26 Serie A goals.
This campaign Andrea Belotti has made 18 appearances for Torino in all competitions and has found the net for seven times; his side currently sit 10 in the Serie A table with only three points behind from the Europe League zone.
