According to the reports, Paris Saint-Germain are willing to launch a £90m bid for Chelsea holding midfielder N’Golo Kante next summer.
The 26-year-old France international slotted immediately into Antonio Conte’s team when he moved to Chelsea from Leicester City for around £30m back in 2016.
PSG made Neymar jr the most expensive signing in football history when they bought him from Barcelona for close to £200m, and they are also set to secure the signing of Kylian Mbappe from AS Monaco permanently at the end of the season for over £100m.
The reports from Le Parisien claim that the French giants are keen to strengthen their midfield with a player of Kante’s calibre, and are willing to spend big to get the Chelsea star.
The current contract deal of Kante at the West London outfit does not expire until 2021.
Meanwhile, Thibaut Courtois wants to join La Liga giants Real Madrid.
The current contract deal of the Belgium international with the Premier League champions expires in 2019 and reports have claimed that he is in talks over extending his deal.
But Madrid-based outlet Marca suggests that Chelsea’s hierarchy are fully aware of Thibaut Courtois’ desire to join Madrid as a priority, and the 25-year-old goalkeeper is holding out for a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich wants the club’s No.1 shot-stopper to stay at west London club, but Los Blancos will be looking for a long-term replacement for Keylor Navas and Courtois represents the most attainable target.
