Italian outlet Inter Live have claimed that Antonio Conte’s side are preparing a player-plus-cash deal to sign Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, in a transfer that would see Ivan Perisic move to north London.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s future is up in the air at the moment, as he looks set to enter the final 12 months of his current contract at the end of the campaign. Barcelona have been massively linked with the striker, but Inter Milan are also reportedly eyeing the Gabonese ace.
The ex-AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund star has continued his stunning form, scoring 17 goals in 25 Premier League matches. But Arsenal may even fail to qualify for Europe this campaign, let alone the Champions League.
Inter Milan are keen to bring him to Italy, and as per the report, it is believed they will offer cash plus 31-year-old winger Ivan Perisic – who is currently on loan at Bayern Munich. Ivan Perisic has struggled at Bayern Munich, scoring only five goals in 22 outings.
The report claims he is likely to return to Inter Milan this summer, rather than a permanent £17million transfer to Bayern Munich – given Bayern want to sign Kai Havertz and Leroy Sane. Inter Milan want rid of Ivan Perisic, and they are ready to offer him to the Gunners.
