Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly told his club he has an offer on the table from his old club Manchester United.
The Portuguese striker does not feel valued by Los Blancos and is weighing up the opportunity to return to Old Trafford and end his career there, as reported by Don Balon. The report adds that, despite his age, Ronaldo would still be viewed as an excellent signing for the Red Devils after his prolific run in front of goal this season.
The Champions League top scorer is undoubtedly one of the most lethal finishers in Europe and could be an upgrade on some of this current crop of Red Devils attacking players. 33-year-old is unstoppable when he’s in the form and has shown what he can do in the Premier League with his stellar displays earlier in his career.
Don Balon reports that the striker has now told Real Madrid about Manchester United’s interest as he looks to engineer himself a better contract at Santiago Bernabeu.
In fairness, Ronaldo arguably deserves all the recognition he wants after his services to the club, for whom he’s made history by becoming their all-time leading goalscorer.
