Jose Mourinho has reportedly given the green light for Anthony Martial to leave Old Trafford this summer. The Frenchman, who made 135 appearances across all competitions, has fallen down the pecking order at the club since the arrival of Alexis Sanchez, making only four Premier League starts since January.
The youngster’s limited playing time has led to speculation over his future, and Italian outlet Tuttosport states that Portuguese manager has now approved a deal which would take the winger to Juventus this summer.
Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is understood to be a fan of Martial, who became the world’s most expensive teenager when he joined the club back in 2015, but the Red Devils manager has reportedly decided that the France international has no future at his team.
Serie A leaders are currently thought to be leading the race for his signature, but Premier League rivals Chelsea have also been linked with the attacker in a possible swap deal for Willian. It is a well-known fact that Jose Mourinho is keen on the 29-year-old star and wants to have a Brazilian in his squad.
