The Merseyside giants are reportedly one of three teams that Kylian Mbappe has his eye on. Liverpool have been linked with a move for France international and journalist Ian McGarry revealed last week that the Reds club were seriously weighing up a transfer and there only might be good news on that front from France.
France international is beginning to feel that Ligue 1 is too limiting for him and is ‘convinced’ that the Reds are a club he knows would bring him both success and fulfillment. The report adds that Kylian, who is interested in the idea of playing for Liverpool, also feels the same about Man City and Spanish giants Real Madrid.
The 27-year-old defender back a cool £165m in 2018 and there’s no reason why the Ligue 1 champions wouldn’t make a handsome profit on him. Liverpool and Real Madrid have been linked with him and he has spoken openly about his admiration of both teams.
To be fair, this doesn’t seem to be right up Liverpool’s alley and a move to Man City or Real Madrid does look more probable, given their contrasting methods in the transfer window, but it’ll be fascinating to see what happens. If this report is true, Kylian fancies a move to Anfield and that’ll surely make some ears perk up.
However, the French champions have made their move to keep him in Paris. After scoring two goals in PSG’s 4-0 win over Montpellier on Friday night, he spoke to the media. “I think that yes, I will have to soon make a decision. But for now, I am in deep thought,’’ the World Cup winner said.
