Liverpool have joined the race to sign Wilfried Zaha this summer and that’s according to The Sun, who says the Merseysiders are considering the Crystal Palace attacker as part of a £50m deal. The paper reckons Zaha is ready to make his move from Palace, hoping to play for a team that will be taking part in European competition next season.
Liverpool face competition from the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City according to the same publication. The striker is in exceptional form right now, helping his team to a five-game unbeaten streak in the Premier League, scoring four goals and creating an assist in that time.
Having been moved to a more central position at the Eagles this term, he has netted eight goals in total which is the best return of his career. Seen as a more creative player than a goalscorer, he has plenty more to his game with dribbling and key passes in the final third his main strengths.
Ex-Manchester United player is coming into his prime and in Jurgen Klopp’s dynamic system could shine, especially when surrounded by better players.
