According to The Sun, three of the players that are on Liverpool’s transfer list are Ajax captain Matthijs de Ligt, Benfica midfielder Joao Felix and Juventus outcast Paulo Dybala.
Matthijs De Ligt has been in sensational form for the Eredivisie giants and was huge in the Champions League and were seconds away from a final before Tottenham scored at the death.
Joao Felix, who turned 19 this season, has outshone in the Primeira Liga for Benfica this term, scoring 19 times and assisting a further 11.
Paulo Dybala, on the other hand, has had a miserable season at Turing giants after the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Under Max Allegri this year, the Argentina international has fallen out of favour, but his talent is acknowledged and would improve any club he joined.
Liverpool chairman Tom Werner has already touted his team to win the Premier League next campaign.
He said: “We’re only going to get stronger. Ninety-seven points, it’s a remarkable year. “We didn’t win the league, but we’ll be back next year, and we’ve got a lot of motivation to win the league next year. I’m excited.
“I think that we’ve made a lot of friends around the world and I think we’ve done well by our supporters. I can’t say enough about Jurgen and all the talent on the field.”
Liverpool will need to sign a left-back or promote from the academy as Alberto Moreno, and Nathaniel Clyne both are destined to leave Anfield in the summer.
