Liverpool interested in signing €55m-rated La Liga midfielder

Eduardo Camavinga is increasingly frustrated by his situation at Real Madrid and could seek a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu in next summer’s transfer window. And the 19-year-old midfielder has popped up on the radar of the Merseyside giants, with Liverpool prepared to pay €45m to add the youngster.

France international is widely regarded as one of the most talented young midfielders in Europe, having made quite a splash since breaking into the Stade Rennais first-team setup aged only 16.

After spending two years with Stade Rennais, Camavinga became one of the most sought-after footballers in Europe, and he eventually decided to join Los Blancos this past summer. However, the transfer to La Liga giants has not worked out as envisioned for Eduardo, as he is behind Modric, Kroos, Casemiro and Valverde in the pecking order.

As a result, after a strong start to life as a Real Madrid footballer, the going has been tough for the French midfielder in the Spanish capital. Camavinga has managed only 620 minutes of playing time at Real Madrid thus far, chipping in with one goal and one assist in 17 games across all competition.

However, after failing to establish himself as a regular, the Frenchman’s frustrations have boiled over, and he could seek an exit from the team. Such a situation has alerted the Reds. Liverpool hold a long-standing interest in Eduardo Camavinga, having made previous attempts to sign him during his days as a Stade Rennais footballer.
