Karim Adeyemi’s fantastic displays have captured the attention of some of the biggest teams in Europe. Liverpool and Barcelona are among his prospective suitors, with Bayern Munich also closely monitoring the 19-year-old striker.
Karim spent his formative years at three different German teams, including Bayern Munich, before joining RB Salzburg in the summer of 2018. Adeyemi was subsequently sent out on loan to Liefering for 18 months before he returned to RB Salzburg last year.
Since then, Germany international has made stunning progress in his career, and at the onset of 2021/22, the striker has seven goals and an assist in nine games. At the same time, the German striker has also broken into the national side, even scoring on debut with Armenia in the ongoing international break.
And unsurprisingly, several teams have been tracking him, including the Reds. The interest from the Blaugrana makes sense despite the fact that they signed Luuk de Jong and Sergio Aguero in the summer transfer window. Roberto Firmino will turn 30 this year, with Liverpool’s entire first-choice attacking trio entering the final years of their peak periods.
And with Divock Origi surplus to requirements and in discussions to join Fenerbahce, Karim could initially come in as a replacement for the Belgian international before eventually succeeding Firmino as the leader of the Reds front-line.
