Jarrod Bowen has emerged as a top target for the Merseyside giants. Liverpool are closely monitoring his current situation at West Ham United, with the 25-year-old winger himself keen on the move to Anfield. Jarrod’s current deal at the London Stadium expires in 2025.
A winter move away from the Hammers has been ruled out for Bowen, as the Reds are unlikely to make any big additions this month. However, the English attacker is likely to leave the Irons in the summer, with the Reds seemingly emerging as a possible destination.
Formerly of Hull City, the Englishman has been a part of West Ham United since winter 2020. Over the past couple of years, Bowen has been an integral part of the Hammers’ offensive unit, forming an impressive partnership with Benrahma and Antonio.
In 83 competitive games, Jarrod has scored 17 goals while providing 20 assists. Bowen’s 13 goal involvements in the PL last term were critical in helping the Irons secure Europa League football. Jarrod has improved his tally further in the new campaign, notably bagging nine assists in only 21 games.
Jarrod’s contributions in the final third have not gone unnoticed, with the Reds among the teams keen on securing his services. Earlier reports had suggested that Liverpool were prepared to fork out €50m for Bowen in winter. But it appears they are prepared to wait until the summer before making an effort to add the West Ham United winger.
