According to Scouts in Attendance Manchester City sent scouts to monitor Mohamed Daramy in action for FC Copenhagen.
The 17-year-old has been tipped for a transfer to Liverpool in recent days, with the winter switch mooted.
Daramy was seen in action for Copenhagen on November 3rd, as they beat SonderjyskE 3-0 at home.
The 17-year-old surprised during his time on the pitch, producing one fantastic piece of skill.
It is no great shock to see Liverpool and Manchester City potentially locking horns in a race to sign young prospect.
They are arguably the two best teams in Europe currently, with Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp widely regarded as the most excellent managers on the planet, too.
It will be interesting to see who attracts more to Daramy, should the interest be genuine and a possibility to join either club arises.
He is still growing as a player, so certainly would be an immediate squad player, but his hopes of featuring more in the future would arguably be higher at the Merseyside Reds.
Jurgen Klopp is a keen advocate of youth, rather than merely spending big on world-renowned players for the sake of it.
