Barcelona President Joan Laporta has struck an agreement with super-agent Mino Raiola for the transfer of Borussia Dortmund centre-forward and reported Liverpool target, Erling Haaland. Mino Raiola and Joan Laporta have agreed for Norway international to move to Barcelona this summer.
The Catalan giants chief has made Haaland his top target as he is determined to make the striker the new figurehead of the Blaugrana front-line. Joan Laporta also has an excellent relationship with Mino Raiola, having remained very close following Ibrahimovic’s move to La Liga in 2009.
Now, they met at the recent Golden Boy award ceremony to lay the groundwork for Erling to wear blue-and-red soon. The discussions in Turin were successful, with Mino Raiola agreeing with Joan Laporta to seal a deal in the summer market.
So, the 21-year-old striker will play for the Blaugrana and seal a transfer from Borussia Dortmund, as long as Joan Laporta raises enough funds. Mino Raiola’s agreement with the Blaugrana President Laporta for the Norwegian striker’s transfer is a blow for the Reds and their attacker Mohamed Salah.
Egypt international wants the Norwegian to join him at Liverpool this year. Salah requested that Liverpool make big-name signings during negotiations over his new deal.
The Reds are also among the teams considering targeting the attacker. Erling can certainly answer Jurgen Klopp’s and Mohamed Salah’s dreams with the Borussia Dortmund striker completing a transfer to Liverpool over Barcelona. Haaland has scored 19 goals in 16 matches so far this term.
