Liverpool are keen on signing Federico Chiesa this summer transfer window, with Fiorentina looking to receive up to €80million (£69m) for his signature.
Jurgen Klopp is set to enter the market for a versatile attacker at the end of the campaign. Divock Origi and Daniel Sturridge are both set to leave Anfield and will need to be replaced.
Timo Werner has been heavily linked with German giants Bayern Munich, who are the favourites to land the 22-year-old while FC Inter News reports that the Reds are interested in signing Federico Chiesa.
The attacker has netted 11 goals and assisted a further eight for his teammates and is very versatile. Able to play on both wings, the forward also can play as a centre forward or attacking midfielder – something Jurgen Klopp is sure to be a fan of.
Napoli and Inter Milan are also interested in landing the Italian rising star this summer, and the former is understood to be willing to offer Eddie Salcedo or Yann Karamoh as part of a player plus cash deal to land their star man.
Given the model of forward Liverpool have targeted under the German manager’s reign, with Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Xherdan Shaqiri all quick and versatile, it is clear to see why the Serie A star might be a target for the 51-year-old boss.
