Liverpool received offers to sell £25m-rated midfield star

Liverpool have received approaches from Hertha Berlin, Werder Bremen and Eintracht Frankfurt for Marko Grujic.

Hertha Berlin are keen on extending Marko Grujic’s loan spell for a second campaign, while other two German clubs are exploring the chance of signing the player on a permanent basis.

Frankfurt have the cash to fund a move for the midfielder after selling star man Luka Jovic to Real Madrid in €60 million deal.

The Reds meanwhile will look to bring in £25 million for the 23-year-old, with the report suggesting that an unnamed Premier League side and Atletico Madrid are also monitoring Marko Grujic’s situation.

The Serbian star has turned out 14 times for Liverpool first team after making the move to Merseyside back in 2016 and looks set to leave Anfield once again this summer.

And if the Premier League giants, who paid £5 million for talented midfielder, can receive up to £25m for him, it would be viewed as an excellent piece of business by the Champions League winners.

The European champions could bring in £25 million for talented forward Harry Wilson this transfer window if they opt to cash in on the Wales international on a permanent basis.

The youngster excelled for Derby County last campaign and is attracting interest from numerous Premier League clubs.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are also preparing to let the second-choice goalkeeper Simon Mignolet leave on as the Belgian star has been an unused substitute for 18 months, and the Reds also want to get rid of his wages.

The Merseysiders will promote a youngster from the academy to cover Alisson Becker.
