Manchester United have been put on red alert after the agent of Juventus star Daniele Rugani made a shocking statement.
Reports in Italy have connected the Reds with a move for the 23-year-old as Jose Mourinho looks to reinforce his defensive advantages.
And reports have been moreover fired by a shock admission from the player’s agent Furio Fedele.
Speaking of Premium Sport, Fedele admitted the centre-back’s career might have approached its end in Turin. “Knowing Juventus, I fear Rugani’s adventure at the Bianconeri has reached its end credits,” he said.
Rugani has been unusable for Juventus’s last six matches and is believed to be eager for a move away in the January window.
The Italian defender is under a deal at Juve and United would need to agree on a fee with Massimiliano Allegri’s side.
In other news, Mourinho is reportedly upset by United’s reluctance to make a move for Danny Rose.
Mourinho is keen to add Rose to his squad as he chases a world-class left-back in the January transfer window.
However, United’s board have reportedly shown reluctance over sanctioning a deal as they already see Luke Shaw as the ideal player for the role.
Ashley Young remains their first-choice in the position, but Mourinho wants to add a natural left-back, who can make an immediate impact, in the transfer window, claims the report.
