Man United could express their interest in Borussia Monchengladbach striker Marcus Thuram. The Red Devils have been pretty keen on adding another centre-forward in winter. The 25-year-old centre-forward was recently rewarded for his fantastic displays as the striker joined the French squad in the World Cup.
France international is not expected to be involved pretty frequently but will get the necessary exposure required to establish himself at this level. Man United finalized the exit of Ronaldo as the Red Devils announced his departure in an official statement.
It is not clear whether the footballer has been guaranteed a payout as compensation as he has foregone a large part of his entitled salary. There has been a feeling of frustration as the Dutch manager has been unable to turn the wheels of his forwards.
Barring Rashford none of the forward footballers have resurrected their form, while Martial has had a long injury layoff. Marcus’ deal will expire in the summer and the Bundesliga giants will be set to do some business in January. Having signed Thuram from Guingamp in 2019, the German club will be hoping for a little profit.
The Red Devils are not the only club waiting for the Frenchman in the wings as Inter Milan are also set to offer the player a deal. The Nerazzurri want to execute the deal as early as possible but United can interrupt their proceedings. Ronaldo’s departure would free up a whole lot of wages and it could be the start of a new journey from now on.
