Man United keeping tabs with €40m-rated Norwegian attacker

Man United are reportedly showing a strong interest in a possible transfer deal for Real Madrid playmaker Martin Odegaard. Norway international is not playing regularly for the Los Blancos at the moment and has previously spent a lot of time out on loan at the likes of Vitesse and Real Sociedad.

It looks, however, that Martin is now keen to move on in order to play regularly, with this seemingly putting the Red Devils on alert. This could be a blow for the French tactician, as Zizou wants to see Odegaard stay and become the long-term successor to Luka Modric in the middle of the park.

However, Red Devils could spoil their plans as they’re said to be set to offer nearly €50m to snap the Norwegian up. The 22-year-old playmaker could be ideal to give the Norwegian manager’s side a bit more creativity in the middle of the park, but one imagines La Liga giants won’t make this signing easy.

Martin has long been tipped for a big future in the game, ever since making his breakthrough as a youngster and moving to the Santiago Bernabeu so early in his career. Things haven’t quite worked out for him in the Santiago Bernabeu, but Red Devils could do well to take advantage of this situation and bring him to Theatre of Dreams.

The Spanish giants figures such as boss Zinedine Zidane and his coaching staff are reportedly hopeful over a transfer deal for RB Leipzig centre-back Dayot Upamecano. France international has caught the eye in the Bundesliga and could have a long list of transfer suitors.
