Agent Jonathan Barnett has stated that Gareth Bale has no desire of leaving Real Madrid during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Gareth Bale has endured a disappointing season at Santiago Bernabeu, and the return of former manager Zinedine Zidane has resulted in the Welshman continuing to be linked with a move away from the Spanish giants.
However, Jonathan Barnett has played down those claims, insisting that the 29-year-old winger remains happy with life in the Spanish capital.
The Mirror quotes the representative as saying: “He is very happy here. He is a Real Madrid player and right now he is not thinking about a return to England. I can’t predict the future, but for now, he is happy.”
Manchester United have been credited with an interest in former Tottenham Hotspur man, who still has over three years left on his contract and will look to run the deal when he will be 32 years old and may receive another big money contract as he will have years left in his bank.
Meanwhile Manchester United are willing to sign West Ham midfielder Declan Rice who recently played for the Three Lions after Gareth Southgate called him up previous month.
The Red Devils are ready to part ways with Nemanja Matic who is earning £140,000 per week and sign the young England international who has a £30,000-week deal at the moment and the Premier League giants are willing to offer him a huge increase.
