Bayern Munich attacker Thomas Muller could finally be heading to England after the German striker asked to leave the club during the January transfer window.
The 30-year-old has fallen out of favour under Niko Kovac this season and has started the last five games from the Bench.
Muller was a target for Man Utd when Louis van Gaal was in charge at Old Trafford an since than has been always on the Red Devils radar.
However, Bayern turned down Man Utd bids in the region of £80m for Muller and world-cup winning forward has remained at the Bayern Munich.
Liverpool and Arsenal were both interested back in 2017, however, Muller again resisted lucrative offers to depart as he was happy with his dream club.
However, after 19 years with the Bayenr Munich, Bild report that German attacker has decided to depart from the Allianz Arsenal after growing tired of a lack of game-time under Kovac.
Muller has started just three Bundesliga games this season and has lost his spot in the side to Philippe Coutinho, who has joined the German giants on a loan spell from Barcelona earlier in the summer.
The German’s current contract runs until 2021 and it remains to be seen what his price will be, however, the news have definitely alerted both Arsenal and Man Utd who are thinking to strengthen their offensive end.
