Former Celtic F.C. target Adrian Akande looks set to go on trial with Rangers F.C. after leaving Chelsea to find a new club.
Adrian Akande is reportedly highly sought after, with previous rumours suggesting the likes of Celtic F.C., Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Liverpool and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim
are all keen on the prolific 16-year-old winger.
However, according to The Scotsman, Rangers F.C. have offered the teenager, who has previously been compared to the likes of Ousmane Dembele and Eden Hazard, a trial.
Adrian Akande has undoubtedly attracted attention following his departure from Frank Lampard’s side.
The 16-year-old winger has spent trial period’s with West Ham United F.C. and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim respectively, and Rangers F.C now appear to be taking a closer look at him.
Adrian Akande enjoyed a prolific forward campaign for the Blues’ youth sides last season, netting 30 goals and creating 22 assists from the wing in just 42 matches.
While Celtic F.C. have been previously linked with the promising young prospect, the Hoops are yet to approach him with regards to a trial.
