Chelsea are reportedly set to spend £200m this summer’s transfer window, despite already finalising deals for RB Leipzig forward, Timor Werner and Ajax attacking midfielder Andre Onana.
The West London club have boosted their attacking options for next campaign by bringing both Werner and Ziyech to the club, while Bayer Leverkusen’s midfield maestro, Kai Havertz continues to be rumoured with a switch to Stamford Bridge.
According to The Mirror, the Blues manager, Frank Lampard wants at least three more signings in the summer with Leicester City’s full-back Ben Chilwell and West Ham United’s versatile midfielder Declan Rice priorities alongside Kai Havertz.
The report suggests that a new number one stopper could also arrive due to Kepa Arrizabalaga’s struggles, meaning that the teams spending ahead of the next campaign could reach £200m.
The West London club are believed to be prepared to pay £60m for German international midfielder this summer, however, Leverkusen have insisted that they will not sell the Germany international on the cheap and could hold out for £90m.
