Lazio are reportedly planning to make a summer move for Chelsea forward Pedro Rodriguez.
There has been some confusion about the future of 32-year-old forward in recent weeks, however, as it stands, the former Barcelona forward will be out of contract at the West London club on June 30.
Spanish forward has recently claimed that he is keen on to sign a new contract with the West London club, although it is currently unclear whether Frank Lampard’s side will be offering a contract extension to the experienced Spaniard.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Serie A giants are readying a summer move for the Spanish forward, who has struggled to secure a regular spot in the Blues XI this campaign.
Pedro has been restricted to just nine Premier League games during the 2019-20 season, while he has scored just two goals and providing three assists in all competitions.
The attacker arrived at Stamford Bridge from the Catalan club back in August 2015.
Chelsea’s another forward Olivier Giroud has been tipped to make a switch to Lazio after the end of the current campaign and the Blues could use the Serie A giants in the signing of their forward to lure Francesco Acerbi at Stamford Bridge.
