Barcelona will be set to offer €32m in base fee and €5m in add-ons to sign Robert Lewandowski in the summer transfer window. The Bayern Munich centre-forward is also a target for Chelsea and Man United. After spending eight years in Bavaria, Poland international is determined to call time on his stint with the Bundesliga giants.
During this period, Lewandowski established himself as one of the best centre-forwards in Europe while carving a lasting legacy for himself at Bayern Munich. Robert has a staggering record of 344 goals and 72 assists in 374 games for the Bavarians.
But with the 33-year-old striker’s deal having a year left to run out, the German club might have to bite the bullet and cash in on him amid interest from several European bigwigs, including Barcelona, Chelsea and Man United.
The Blaugrana initially wanted to sign Erling Haaland this summer, but the new Man City centre-forward was too expensive. The Polish striker has since become a priority target for the Catalan giants, with the centre-forward keen on joining them.
But Barcelona have had to raise their offer for the former Borussia Dortmund striker after the Bundesliga giants rejected their opening offer. On the other hand, the Blues will likely scour the market for a centre-forward in the summer transfer window as Lukaku edges closer to rejoining Inter Milan this summer.
With Lukaku being a dud on his return to Chelsea, the Blues will have to invest in a striker for a second summer in a row, making Robert Lewandowski a viable target.
